About Boro Rangers
Boro Rangers were founded in 2003 and quickly established an outstanding reputation both on and off the pitch with all players, parents and coaches. Boro Rangers is an FA Charter Standard Community Club, which means that everybody connected to our Club adheres to strict rules and regulations. All of our coaches are qualified to a minimum of the FA Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football. All volunteers attached to our Club follow the clubs codes of conduct and have completed enhanced CRC checks.
Our First team currently competes in the Teesside Football League, which is at Step 7 of the National League System. Our Club currently has 34 teams competing in the Teesside Junior Football Alliance in the U17, U15, U14, U13 (x2), U12, U11 (x2), U10 (x4), U9 (x4), U8 (x9), and U7 (x9) age groups. We also have 5 Girls' teams competing in the Russell Foster Youth League (U14) and North Riding and Tees Valley Girls League (U12, U11, U10 and U8) respectively, and three disability teams competing in the North Riding County FA Ability Counts League - with approximately 400 players registered to our Club.
The aim of our Club is to provide an enjoyable learning experience - within which we strive to develop our players' skills and qualities not only as a footballer on the pitch, but also as a young person off the pitch. Our ethos is not to win at all costs but to develop a winning mentality by providing a positive learning environment, to aid in the development of each individual's skills and attributes, and to hopefully help our youngsters progress on to a higher level in the future.
